The controls are completely different, and you really have to have the patience to work for the tricks. I must warn anyone who is interested in trying it out, it isn't like the Tony Hawk or Skate franchise. You can have a legit, yep legit, first person view! Amazing on spinning tricks, or just straight back flips. One thing what really stands out for me in this game is the option to change views. Can't confirm when, but there's promise it'll be out soon. Pipe is coming out with a new map update soon, a brand new street plaza. I'm sure some of you remember those games. I grew up on them, and they helped me getting into bmx and I'm still shredding over a decade later. It bounces off from the old Mat Hoffman and Dave Mirra games from the old PS1/Xbox days. However, "Pipe" is constantly getting updated and is quite a good start. No EA sponsorship or anything. It is a one man job, and the "Pipe" version is only a demo at the moment, with promise of the full game coming later on. To start, it isn't sponsored by any company. Just want to state from the jump that I am in no way involved with this game at all, just an avid bmx'er at heart and a huge supporter of this game.
